I have over twenty years of training and development experience primarily in automotive manufacturing. I enjoy designing and editing all types of learning and documents. While employed at a large manufacturing firm, I revamped an existing classroom based maintenance development program into self paced lab activities, which improved flexibility and availability of training and increased learning retention. The self based lab activity training was distributed to several community colleges for workforce development in the central Ohio area and continues to be used today. While employed in manufacturing I was a certified maintenance and reliability professional (CMRP) and was the organizations’ subject matter expert in PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controllers).
I use a holistic approach that addresses multiple learning styles and methods. I have proven success in conducting research and working with subject matter experts to extract information that can be broken down into small chunks of learning easily grasped by learners.
