About Me

I bring over twenty years of training and development experience primarily in automotive manufacturing. 

While employed at a large manufacturing firm, I converted existing classroom-based maintenance development training into self-paced lab activities, which improved flexibility and availability of training while increasing learner retention. 

The self-paced lab activity training was distributed to several community colleges for workforce development in the central Ohio area and is still in use today.  While employed in manufacturing I became a certified maintenance and reliability professional (CMRP) and the subject matter expert for PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) training.

Since I started JSW Design LLC in 2014, I have created over twenty-five site specific e-learning courses for manufacturing organizations. Most of these courses address proper maintenance practices, safety, and the use of specialized tools and equipment.

I have proven success in conducting research and working with subject matter experts to extract, organize, and present complex material while engaging learners. I use a holistic approach that addresses multiple learning styles and methods and enjoy designing and editing all types of learning and documents.
